A. L. Bahta is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and creative technologist living and working in New York City. Under the alias Quiet Luke, he has released music and visuals that explore personal mythology and iconism in the 21st century. Under the dubious name YWGI, collaborator Kevin James Neal and him work as a creative duo that leverages AI and other creative tools for commercial use. Together they have done work for Versace, Collina Strada, Matte Projects, Zora, and RCA records. In 2023, he co-founded Club Chess, a conceptual social club and experimental party series with Corrine Ciani. He is currently working on a personal exhibition of sculptures and sound installations made in collaboration with AI to debut in 2024. Corrine Ciani is a NY-based writer that explores the sublime through the lens of the human condition. Daisy Alioto is the CEO of Dirt Media. She has a decade of experience in audience development for media companies such as Time Inc., Condé Nast, HODINKEE, Air Mail, First Look Media and New York Magazine. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Republic and more.
Daniel Keller is an artist, commentator and strategist based in Los Angeles. Keller has exhibited internationally as a solo artist and as half of post-internet duo Aids-3d. He was a co-founder of New Models and Channel. He is a member of Octu Ventures, advisor to the 221A Node Library, and currently leads cultural strategy at Vaporware Network, a new p2p operating system.
Dexter Tortoriello is the co-founder of Friends With Benefits as well as MindPalace, where he currently sits as CTO. With a decade-long career in the music industry as a touring artist and record producer (Houses + Dawn Golden), Dexter transitioned into the tech world, bringing with him a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise. At Friends With Benefits, he led as Head of Technology, transforming a weekend project among friends into a sprawling decentralized community and global culture. Today, he is at the helm of MindPalace, an ambitious venture aimed at building a high-res, interactive model of the self derived from decades of personal data.
Elijah is praised on the internet for his yellow post-it note style advice for artists and the music industry at large that he shares across social media. He's expanded it out into Make The Ting, an educational series and platform for releasing music and throwing parties.
Lucas Mascatello is an artist, writer, and strategist. He co-founded the independent newspaper Civilization, which has been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, Dazed, 032c and other publications. In addition to publishing books and newspapers, Civilization also produces a bimonthly radio show on NTS and engages in various other art projects. Lucas’ writing has appeared in Interview Magazine, Business of Fashion, Buffalo Zine, Kaleidoscope, Dazed, SSENSE, Highsnobiety and many other publications.
Marisa is a product and marketing strategist based in New York dreaming of a future where she can brain link with her chihuahua Mischa. She was the first hire at Arable Labs, an agricultural technology startup, and went on to lead their Product team. She joined Tlon Corporation as VP of Marketing and threw the first Assembly, an Urbit unconference. She then transitioned to VP of Product and lead the launch of Groups and Talk. Martti Kalliala is a strategist / designer / artist, originally educated as an architect. He is a founding partner of Nemesis, a strategic consulting firm and creative studio based in LA, NY and Berlin with clients spanning from emerging technology protocols to established consumer and luxury brands. Martti is also half of the acclaimed electronic music duo Amnesia Scanner. He’s the author of many essays on culture, technology, and design, published in Harvard Design Magazine, Kaleidoscope, Flash Art and others. In a previous life he worked for OMA in Rotterdam.
Primavera De Filippi is a Research Director at the National Center of Scientific Research in Paris, and Faculty Associate at the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard. She is the author of “Blockchain and the Law” published by Harvard University Press. Founding member of the Global Future Council on Blockchain Technologies at the World Economic Forum, she is the founder and coordinator of the U.N. Internet Governance Forum’s dynamic coalitions on Blockchain Technology (COALA).
Toby is a writer, researcher, and founder. He is a cofounder of Other Internet, a research organization studying the psychological, political, and economic effects of digital media technologies. He is currently building a new organization focused on Western psychology and the spiritual landscape of America.
W.
